SNOW DAY #2: oh crap.
so i woke this morning and i looked outside to see this very disturbing image:
the first thing that i said to myself was "oh crap" i was sooo mad and i new that i would have to clean this up all by myself. grr. so i started at like 8 and took a break arould 12 for lunch and then went back out cleaning until like around 2. when i had first started, i was picking up all of the little pieces on the driveway. i was about half way done when my mom walks outside and says, "you know you can use a broom!" and was like duh! so i wasted like over 30 min just picking up tiny scraps of tp. that tool really helped me! anyway, overall, after taking it all down, i had used 3 trash bags to throw it all away.
watch out because i got awesome cleaning-up-TP-skills
so i basically wasted my second snow day cleaning up stupid TP. grr.

Church
this weekend at church was a-mazing! (sorry if i used your word bryce) we had the best set list ever!!:
What I've Done (Kyle Smith you are awesome), From God Above, Take It All, To the Ends of The Earth, and The Stand. it was my first time playing with Crap Pappas!!
i just loved how we get to play these AWESOME songs for God!! wow.
Plus, there was the world famous chocolate slip n slide! Kyle Long won at the 6:30 service by sliding all the way up to the stage!!
(Kyle you are my hero) also that night, i met Jen's friend Shelby for the first time. one word: HYPER! haha then, me, jen, zach, lyn, and shelby sat at our awesome table after the service! :) the next morning during our practice, we were playing Take It All and Taffy kept on singing at the end: take, take, take it all, take, take, take it all, take, take, take it all, take, take, take it all, take, take, take it all, take, take, take it all, take, take, take it all, take, take, take it all,... well you get the point. and we were laughing sooo hard while we were playing! i love you taff. then as we played some of the other songs, he would say in really random spots: Take, take it all, take it all,... it was just really funny. you had to be there. and then to top that off; me, virus, and kyle smith all got a Big Texas! yummy! haha

On Sunday...
...me, jen, bryce and his cute hair, and lyn went to go see TRANSFORMERS IN IMAX!!!!!!!! it was amazing!! it made the movie so much more AWESOME and SWEEEET!!!! in case you have never been to an IMAX movie, the screen is HUGE! it is 72.6ft x 52.8ft!!! (i found the info in Wikipedia haha) which makes transformers 949731599467 times better!! so anyway, i had an awesome time seeing the movie (for the 3rd time) and plus i got to see it with awesome friends!! a couple of the best parts was our very fun seets that were like rocking chairs, and Bryce saying the most random things like:
"what would happen if the screen just ripped? would it explode?"
"i just want to jump of the seats and fly."
"shouldn't the handicapped seats be at the top so the people don't break their necks looking up?"
"is there a third level?"
"don't drop your phone down there."
hahaha we lauged soooo hard!!! if you dont get what he said, well, you just had to be there!
so yup thats it! have you seen it in IMAX??

Essay
so for my english class, i had to write an essay on why i am an american patrtiot. i just thought it was kinda interesting so i wanted to post it. (btw its going to be entered in some national contest so we will see how i do!)
Why I Am an American Patriot
by Chase Parker
Ask yourself, are you an American patriot? Do you love your country? Do you say the Pledge of Allegiance every day? Do you have respect for the Armed Forces? If you answered yes to all of these questions, you are one step closer to being an American patriot. As people grow up, they gain a better understanding of what the United States of America is all about. As I grow older, I become increasingly interested in patriotism through an interest in politics and the events surrounding 9/11.
Politics is very important in our country for many reasons. When President George W. Bush was elected into the White House in 2001, I really started to get interested in him and other politics. At that point, I was a very dedicated Republican just like my parents and did many school reports on Bush, Reagan, and Schwarzenegger. In the 4th grade, we went on a field trip to the state capital and I thought it was amazing. I especially loved going into Arnold Schwarzenegger’s office. Currently, the 2008 Presidential Election is covered constantly on all of the television programs, and I am very caught up in what is happening.
Having an interest in politics is not the only way to show patriotism. Understanding and respecting our country’s loses are other forms of patriotism. On September 11, 2001, our country was attacked by terrorists. I was eight years old at the time. I saw what happened to the twin towers and I was in shock. The rest of that day, I prayed for those poor people and remained very concerned for them. At school, we have sent letters and pictures to the unfortunate families to let them know that we love them and support them very much. Until this day, I feel that as a country we have stayed very strong, and have continued to pray for all of the people who have lost someone in the terrible attack.
Showing in interest in politics and the events of 9/11 are two great ways of showing why I am a patriot. So I ask you again, are you an American patriot? I agree with Adlai Stevenson when he said, “Patriotism is not frenzied outbursts of emotion, but the tranquil and steady dedication of a lifetime.” This is how I live my life, and this is how I show I am an American patriot.
