WASHINGTON D.C.!!

well strating today, i will be in D.C. with my whole 8th grade class from school! I'm so excited!! I get back Saturday so i may be able to come to church if i'm not too tired. And please keep me in your prayer every day that i have a safe plane ride, safe bus rides, and just to be safe in our Nation's Capital!! thanks!

i can be your hero baby

Ohh this weekend at church so far has been ammaaazziinngg!!!!!!! First of all, we got to play An Introduction & Time Has Come which was soo sweet!!! that was by far the best song i have EVER played in Wildside. Another great thing that happened was that in that song, i got to use my new cymbal! And while doing so, i wore this very attractive vest. But, i think that the most, um how do i put it, memorable part was when Dom sang "Hero" by Enrique Iglesias. And Taffy did this wonderful "dance" to Bethany in a Batman costume. Enough said.

To everyone who was supporting me at the baptism last night! it was the best night of my life! It was so great to see everyone that i knew there from church, C-Group, and my family all cheering me on!! I am so happy i was able to get baptized at this age and time because now i know that i have really shown God that i have given up my life to him because i have wanted to for a while now! so thank you again to everyone!! And so now, i am going to give you my new favorite verse:

Matthew 3:16

As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him.

P.S. i would also like to thank Kurt for not keeping me under the water forever. :)

P.S.S. i actually wish i could have stayed in that warm water longer because once i got out, i was freezing my butt off!!!!

i am really happy today

so if you were playing in Wildside this weekend, then you saw that i broke one of my cymbals during practice. it was pretty awesome. here is what it looked like:

so for the services, i had to use one of the church's cymbals. but today, i went to guitar center and bought a new one: my VERY FIRST JILDJIAN CYMBAL!!!!! (pronounced ziljan) it is the same size as my old Sabian (16 inches) but it is waaayyy more aweessoooommmee!!!!!

yup, that's my new baby. 

P.S. i a might be taking David Hughes' advice about framing the broken one and hanging it in my bedroom...  :)
